INGREDIENTS

1 cake

METHOD

2 eggs
100 g of melted butter
2 dl cup of kefir
300 g of wheat flour
150 g of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of
sodium bicarbonate
250 g of chopped dates.

Glazing
100 g of butter
100 g of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
150 g of chopped almonds

SERVE WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM WITH THE CAKE.

1 Whip the eggs carefully in a bowl.
Add the melted butter and
kefir and mix well.
2 Pour the flour, sugar, baking soda and sodium bicarbonate into another bowl.
3 Sift the dry ingredients carefully
into the egg mixture.
4 Add the chopped dates and pour the mixture into a lubricated round tin.
5 Glazing: Melt butter in a pot and add sugar, cinnamon and ground almonds. Spread the glazing on top of the dough.
6 Bake the cake at the bottom of the
oven at 200 degrees C (392 degrees F) for 35 minutes.
